Invertebrates! They’re “the little things that run the world,” to quote E. O. Wilson. The bees, butterflies, fireflies, wasp, and moths to name just a few are vital to our ecosystem. But those invertebrates and the birds that depend on them are in crisis. Pesticide use, climate change, and habitat loss are all contributing to their decline. But all of us can help bring them back.
