Promoting nature-based, toxic-free land care practices for the health of people, their pets, and the planet.

Living Lands: Long Island

For residents of the South Fork, Perfect Earth is offering a free 60-minute Living Lands site visit.

Perfect Earth staff will arrange a time to walk through your property with you to learn about what you’re growing, how you’re caring for your landscape, and what your goals are. Following the 60-minute session, you’ll receive a personalized written report with the following:

“We feel so fortunate that Tim was able to do a site visit at our home. We’ve been trying on our own to move away from having a traditional lawn and towards creating a healthy nature-based habitat but have often found it daunting. While we walked around our yard together, Tim offered concise information specific to our property and outlined some easy to follow and economical first steps that will help get us off to a great jump start. We now know where to start subtracting invasive species, where to add new native plants, and how to protect the good things that we already have. We feel so lucky to have been offered such wonderful expertise!” —Jody and Bruce

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Living Lands provides individualized coaching and education for private landowners, landscape designers, and maintenance professionals to ensure successful transitions from conventional, toxic methods to nature-based practices. Our first major partner is Peconic Land Trust on Eastern Long Island, where we focus on the vital Georgica and Sagg Pond watersheds, but our individualized land care advice, workshops, and educational programs is available to all. Together, we help homeowners and their landscape teams create individualized land care programs and engage their full interest and long-term commitment to their PRFCT places.
